In a very interactive session on 13th September, 2011, we got to learn more about computer, windows and some codes like ASCII7 and ISCII8. W e also got to know about UNICODE ENVIRONMENT, which tells us that file name can be saved in any language, sorting can be done in alphabetical order, filtering, auto correct and many more. These facilities were not available before the introduction of UNICODE. UNICODE also has 16 bits as compared to 8 bits provided earlier.
