Child Labour- A Sin

Child labour is considered as an illegal activity as per our law and government. But now it is also regarded as a sin. Children at the age of 6 or 9 and even less than that work under many factories and at houses. It is inhuman on our part, how does our conscience allow us to make them work. Its a ruthless deed indeed!!
The condition of child labourers in India is desperate. Children work for eight hours without a break. The meal provided is frugal and the children are ill- nourished. Seventy five percent of Indian population still resides in rural areas and are very poor. Children in rural families who are ailing with poverty perceive their children as an income generating resource to supplement the family income.
