19 died in kathmandu crash

A Sunday morning flight to view Mt Everest turned into a tragedy when 19 people on board the aircraft were killed in a crash minutes before it was due to land at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport. Out of 19 people 10 were Indians, 8 were tourists from Tamil Nadu and a couple working for United Nations in Kathmandu.
18 people died just after the crash. The 19th passenger, 36 year old Niranjan Karmacharya, was rescued from the wreckage by a team of locals and security personnel, but he died of his injuries while being treated at hospital in Lalitpur.
