Mr. Novy Kapadia, a renowned personality, told about the works of a Reporter, Sub-Editor and Copy- Editor.
He also discussed about the difference between the three i.e. how a reporter must have a good foot work because he has to collect the information, duty of a sub-editor is to check the report and make necessary amendments and a copy-editor is the one who collects information from various agencies and compile a report.
He told us how the newspapers are now made reader friendly by adding graphics and photographs with an eye catchy headline.
It was an interesting class and we look forward to more sessions with him.
