23 Oct 2011, Saturday, we had a class on business journalism with Mr. Aman Dhall, a senior correspondent at Economic Times. With the help of a PowerPoint presentation he taught us how to write for Business Journalism.
He taught us How:
- To deal with numbers in a story.
- To draw linkage and use comparisons in a corporate society.
- To use Quotes in a story.
- What should be the writing structure of the story.
- Correct use of jargon.
- Context and Perspective.
- Colour and Detail.
- Use of Quotes.

Altogether it was an interesting as well as an enlightening session.
