Dussehra eve left the city's roads jammed at many places. The festive rush for Durga Puja pandals and Ramlilas around the evening rush hour resulted in traffic snarls.

Traffic police officials said the overall vehicle movement went up due to the festivities. "Many parts of the city were affected. It wasn't just the office rush but also the people coming out to celebrate.
