Targeting the Congress over Jan Lokpal bill, veteran social activist Anna Hazare today warned that he would urge people not to vote for congress party if it fails to introduce the bill in the Winter Session of Parliament.
He said he would go to Bihar and to Haryana’s Hissar where assembly and by-polls are due respectively. He announced that he would begin his tour of five election-bound states of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur between October 13 and 15.
Anna had begun turning attention in recent weeks to another issue, electoral reform, arguing that voters should have a right to recall politicians who let them down. But now, perhaps, he’s realizing that his fight for a Lokpal is far from over.
