We had a class on Sports Goods Export Promotion Council (SGEPC) by Tarun Deewan. He took a very interactive class and make us understand the topic with the help ofreat powerPoint presentation.
Firstly he taught us about SGEPC-

• It was established in1958.
• sponsered by Ministry of commerce GOI
• since 2003 took over promotion of toy export

Then he gave a brief knowledge aboutthe following topics-

• activities of SGEPC
• sport goods sector
• classification of sport equipments.
• top sports goodsitemof import
• sports equipment from India

Then he taught us marketing through Intrernational Trade Fairs which include following topics-

• why trade  fairs?
• advantages of group participation
• major components of exhibition

So overall we got a great knowledge about sports equipments and its marketing by Mr.Tarun Deewan.
