According to reports in Germany, Manchester United are set to sign the Borrusia Dortmund star Robert Lewandowski for a fee of £12million
The Polish striker has indicated to his friends that he could possibly move to Old Trafford at the end of the season. His contract expires at the end of the season, and would cost Manchester United just £12million. Despite interest from Arsenal, Lewandowski has chosen Manchester United and would join former team-mate Shinji Kagawa who joined in the summer transfer window.
Sir Alex Ferguson believes Robert Lewandowski would pair up well with Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney playing in a deeper role just behind them, would be the best striking partnership in the Premier League. Lewandowski has helped Dortmund win two Bundesliga titles and has now scored 13 goals in 19 games this season.
