CLASS REPORT ON DEC 11,2012

Today we had a class by Prof. Ambrish Kumar who taught us about "SPORTS LAWS."
He told that there are two types of laws 1)statutory laws and 2)commercial laws.

DEFINITION-
Sports law is one of those fields of law that is applied law in the field of sports physical education and its related field. It is a pure law as opposed to theoretical law and is concerned with how law in general interacts with the activity known as sports.
Sports law has many aspects like-:
a) policy
b) contract
c) tort
d) taxation
e) labor
f) competition
g) T.V. rights
h) match fixing
i) related criminal laws

While studying we came across many sports related bodies like I.O.A(Indian Olympic association), I.O.C(International Olympic Council) W.A.D.A(World Anti-Doping Agency).
