Pravasi Film FestivalThe 1st Pravasi Film Festival 2010, (PFF 2010), which commenced at the India Habitat Center on 3rd January, 2010, continued till 6th January,2010 in partnership with the Republic of Mauritius.It was an initiative taken by the Pravasi Today, (a magazine for the NRI) to offer a platform to the NRI film-makers to showcase their works and also interact with the masses and film personalities in India. Wide range of feature films, short films and documentary films by NRI directors were screened. There was ‘Special Session’ on the works of selected film-makers. The PFF 2010, arranged interactive session for these directors to share their experiences and narrate the tale of their journey and subsequent achievements. The idea was to create a cultural exchange between the two.
