Organizers of PFF, 2010

1. Dr. Padmesh Gupta
International Co-ordinator
A well known creative writer, poet, and academician is the Director of Oxford Business College, UK, President of UK Hindi Samiti, Editor of Purwai magazine and the Convenor of various International conferences and seminars.
Dr. Gupta is an editor and author of several books of creative writing and poetry. He has been invited in many International conferences, Television and Radio programmes to speak in the field of Indian literature and host literary programmes. He has several awards to his credits by the Government of India and social and literary organisations of international repute.

2. Anil Joshi
Festival Director
Anil Joshi is a versatile personality, working in the field of Media, Social Activism for a long time. He worked as a Hindi and Culture Attaché in for 5 years. Founder and Conceptualizer of various International Literary Events and Cultural Exchanges.
Anil Joshi has made a substantial contribution in promoting Hindi and Indian Culture at International level. He has also worked as Desk Officer of the 8th world Hindi Conference organized in .
A poet, critic, a satire writer and journalist, Anil Joshi has more than 500 articles published in various National and International Newspaper and Magazine.
His collection of poetry named ‘Morche Par’ and ‘Nind Kaha Hai’ are popular amongst NRIs. As an editorial advisor of Pravasi Today, he has helped the Magazine from going strength to strength. He is also the President of International Literary Organization ‘Aksharam’.


3. Rajesh Jain

Rajesh Jain is having experience of more than 20 years in the field of management, defence and engineering side. He is a very creative person and having expertise in conceptualizing, strategizing & managing the events. He has interest in media, literature, tourism and social development

4. Divya Mathur
MA, FRSA (International Co-ordinator)
Divya Mathur, worked as Medical Secretary for nearly 15 years at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences, is presently the Executive Director of a charity in . Founder president of Vatayan: Poetry on South Bank, Vice President of the UK Hindi Samiti and Managing Editor of Pravasi Today. In 1992, she joined hands with the team chosen by Minister (Culture) and Director, Mr Gopal Gandhi, to establish The Nehru Centre in , where she continues to enjoy working as its Senior Programme Officer and is working to promote Indo-British relationship. She has received numerous awards for her immense contribution in the field of medicine and literature.

5. Dr. Nikhil Kaushik
Filmmaker
He is a based Independent film maker.
Nikhil has been associated with AIR and TV while in and since being in the he has maintained his interests in media and arts. He has to his credit two poem collections: "Tum London Aaanaa Chahte Ho" and "Khara Hota Nahin Hai Apne Aap Koi".
He qualified from the in and is presently working as a Consultant Eye Surgeon serving the National Health Service in the .
He publishes regularly in Medical journals and periodicals, and is actively engaged in medical education. He lectures regularly to medical and lay audiences on health related subjects, and utilizes his talent in film making to produce educational videos and films.
He produced a much acclaimed feature film, Bhavishya - The Future, that explores professional migration. The film features Saeed Jaffrey and members of the medical profession and puts across the roller coaster life such professionals lead. The film is to a large extent inspired by and focuses upon the lives of International Medial Graduates in the British National Health Service.
He is working on another film project, while remaining engaged with active medical and surgical practice in .

6. Pankaj Dubey
Festival Co-Director
After completing Masters in Applied Communications (Journalism) from , West Midlands, , Pankaj Dubey started his career with the BBC World Service London. He also had a short stint at Vectone India Television, , as a Reporter & Newscaster before he returned to . In India Pankaj Dubey was part of the launching team of Channel 7 and later joined Aaj Tak – TV Today Network. As Resident Editor of Pravasi Today, he has strong grip over Indian Diaspora affairs. He was recently nominated by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Govt. of India to be a part of official delegation in the 8th World Hindi Conference in . He also heads a voluntary organization by the name of Society for the promotion and inculcation of Human Aspirations (SPRIHA).

7. Prof. Rajesh Kumar
Festival Secretary
Prof. Rajesh Kumar is a known author and has written several books of fiction and drama. He is a Linguist (Hindi) by profession and is serving as Professor and Academic Director at the Hindi-Urdu Flagship of University of Texas at Austin, US for their study abroad programme. Earlier he had been Visiting Professor at the Jawaharlal Nehru Cultural Center of Embassy of India at Russia. He has also contributed writings in the area of linguistic and education. He has served the National Institute of Open Schooling, Govt. of India on senior academic positions and has developed several language courses and material, both print and other media, for distance learners. He was also the New Reader at All India Radio and also worked as News Editor with Doordarshan, India. He is consultant to couple of international agencies, and Google is one of those where he is the Lead Linguist for Hindi.

8. Anuranjan Jha
Media Adviser
An IIMC alumnus Anuranjan is a famous TV journalist who has been active in electronic and print media since 15 years. Associated with Film’s scriptwriting and production he has made successful programmes for different channels. Anuranjan has played an important role in establishing three national news channels (AAJ TAK, India TV and Zee News). recently he was Deputy Director News of India News. He has also directed a Bhojpuri movie. Now he is creating a network of 500 reporters all over for a TV news agency and doing several media projects.

9. Ms. Bhawna Pandey
Member, Organizing and Programming Committee, PFF
Bhawana is looking after various facets of film festival; from Coordinator of the Jury to Film Acquisition & Selection to Programming for the Festival. She is also a member of the Organizing and Selection Committee.
A broadcast journalist and writer, Bhawna Pandey has been associated with various national and international news organizations for last 15 years. In the last eight years, she has been actively involved in film journalism. She started her news career with Zee News in 2004 and over the years has produced, directed and scripted more than 500 non-fiction and film television shows.
She has been associated with news organizations like BBC World Service Trust, BAG Films, Sahara Samay, Janmat (presently known as India Live) and News X.
She has also been into fiction writing and has written screenplays and dialogues for TV shows on national channels. She is currently translating a book for Penguin Books India.

10. Sumanta Mishra
Sumanta Mishra is the editor with Nai Duniya Bombay edition. He had a long association with Navbharat Times as film editor is considered as an expert on Amitabh Bachchan and penned a book entitled 'Main Amitabh Bachchan Bol Raha Hu'.

11. TITIKSSHA
Member Organizing Committee
Titikssha's contributions to the Asian performing arts in the , in particular are widely acclaimed.
An actress, voice over artist, interpreter for 4 languages, poetess, and fashion designer she is closely associated with the , (SAPA) and is ambassador to SAMPAD.
Titkssha directs this training ‘centre of excellence’ for screen, TV and
theatre – combining both Eastern and Western performance techniques and
a range of training in acting and dance music & instruments. She also casts for theatre, television and film.
Her label Tanushree Collections is widely worn in , US, and . Her specialisation is in custom made couture bridal and special occassion wear.
Enthusiastic about the Pravasi film festival Titiksha believes that such a festival will be a true platform for many NRI film enthusiasts to have their talents exposed to the wider Indian Audiences.

12. Pankaj Narayan
Pankaj Narayan, a poet, writer and journalist, started his career with writing in India Today, Outlook, Pravasi Today, India News, Life and Time. His expertise and understanding as a writer on political, social and cultural issues is commendable. Known for his satirist one-liners, his columns - Srijan Samvaad (India Today) and Ada-E-Zindagi (Pravasi Today) are well acclaimed. He has been anchoring and coordinating various events including the “7th Antrashtriya Hindi Utsav”, organized by Aksharam. Recipient of Swami Sahajanand Saraswati Award for his contribution to Hindi Journalism, Pankaj Narayan, currently is working on a feature film concept for a well known film production house and a script for a serial is also on the cards.
