The First Pravasi Film Festival 2010, organized in collaboration with the Republic of Mauritius with its opening on January 3, 2010 at India Habitat Centre; New Delhi welcomes you on board. Schedule of activities: to be communicated shortly, updates are available on http://pravasifilmfestival.in/ The Pravasi Film Festival, organized by the Pravasi Today Group is an initiative to bring the NRI film makers on a common platform with their Indian counterparts. The PFF 2010 shall be graced by several personalities from the film fraternity across the globe including Mira Nair, Saeed Jaffrey, Deepa Mehta, Sharmila Tagore, Soha Ali Khan, Sangeeta Datta Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Basu Chatterjee, Poorva Bedi, Manoj Bajpai, Prakash Jha and Rahul Rawail to name a few. Other Eminent NRI filmmakers like Nasreen Munni Kabeer, Dr. Nikhil Kaushik, Anirudh Sanyal, Krishna DK and Raj Nidimoru have also consented to grace the occasion.The awards ceremony in various competitive sections would be held on the 6th of Jan 2010.The PFF would also confer the ‘Life Time Achievement Award’ on Sh. Saeed Jaffrey for his valuable contribution to the cinema world. We cordially invite you to be the part of the Festival which is unique in its approach and content.
