The School Tie.

P.S.- ‘ha ha’ means please laugh because it isn’t funny.

‘yo’ means so cool because it isn’t a bit.

‘aww’ means soooo cute because its so stupid.

I still have some memories of that day. My hair were oiled, combed- side parted in the ratio 1:10, I was happy to carry a pink bag on my shoulders and I had an I-card in my small delightful hands (aww). I was with my father (now he was carrying my pink bag); he left me with a fat guard who escorted me to a place which I miss the most.

I grew older like everybody does (except maybe Benjamin button (ha ha)) and now I was in third standard. Now I used to play some mature games- Ringa Ringa Roses, ice water, doctor doctor and please don’t reveal this but I also had a kitchen set(ha ha).

Okay, then there was tension; I was in sixth grade and the first time I gave my exams and the only time I did well. Fortunately and unfortunately I was a child no more- I was cheap, vulgar, crass, gross, etc (yo).

Unfortunate because being crass and cheap is not so cool.

Fortunate because when you are vulgar at a young age, you know that it’s not cool when it really matters. (This was written to prove that I am not cheap anymore (ha ha)).

Then began the age of me becoming small, as in the girls becoming tall. They were all taller than me and I used to stand second in the row (aww). I was in 8th standard then and

That was the time I first bunk my school (yo) and was first caught doing so.

Then day bunks became a part and parcel of this journey- I was in tenth and I had my boards and I had cigarettes and I had ethanol (fortunately and unfortunately).

Unfortunate because it is not at all cool.

And fortunate because when you try it early you know that it’s not cool when it really matters.

And then was the double one class- 11th.

The class when I was punished by every teacher- thrown out, cleaning the field, standing on the bench, laughing for the whole class without a break etc.

Then was the class to remember, to cherish-12th.

Friends were always there so were the teachers but it’s when something departs, you recognize its value. This was the class where it all ended ; this was the class of my farewell.

Every year had a different experience. Every year was so memorable.

This was for my school life,

Because I still miss my SCHOOL TIE.

Thank you.

peace.
