Class report of 25 October 2012 
On 25 October we had an interactive class session with Dr. Smita Mishra.
We learned about following things:-

• News value- It comes through observation and knowledge.
• Types of news- Hard news,News analysis.  
• The daily newspaper covers more of hard news and the monthly newspaper need to have more of news analysis. 
• News making contains 5W and 1H.

                              Introduction- 4 W ( what,when,where,who)

                              2nd para- How and Why.

             Here the hard news ends and news analysis starts. News analysis contains the trends of the society and catches the nerve of the society.

• Research based news have 2 sources.

                          1) primary source 2) secondary source

•   News sense is also important.
•  The religion based issues are very sensitive and sensible reporting never names the particular religion as it can cause further fights and can create differences.
