The Turkey Crisis Explained

The Lira has lost almost more than thirty five percent of its value against dollar this year prompting concerns that turkey economy which is heavily reliant foreign currency loans , could affect other emerging markets .The crisis began shortly after US president Donald Trump announce a doubling of steel aluminium tariffs  on Turkey as Washington pushed Ankara to release Evangelical Christian  pastor Andrew Brunson who is being held as prisoner on terrorism charges . Turkey president Erogan has blame the Lira’s fall due to deliberate attack from the west rather than the internal affairs of the country. Sonar Cagaptay , the director of Turkish research programme at the Washington institute said that the US had an arsenal of economic sanction ready to be deployed against Turkey, which they believe trump would escalate until Brunson is released
The crisis began with the US reducing the supply of dollars. Earlier the dollar was cheap and available in huge quantities due to which people used it to do the international transaction. The reason that dollar is used in the international transaction is that it is the most stable currency and has low foreign exchange risk and hence the transaction are indexed in dollars. The reduction in supply of dollars has lead to an increase in its value leading to depreciation in the turkey ‘s foreign exchange market as it takes more Lira to buy dollars meaning the dollar has appreciated in its value. Due to a rise in foreign exchange rate the country imports become more expensive. The country cannot stop importing as the raw materials are required irrespective of their price.  Moreover Turkey generally imports machinery, chemicals, semi finished good, fuel and transport equipments which are used as raw materials or intermediate goods in the industry to produce the goods for its citizens and abroad. A rise in prices of imports will lead to an import related inflation in the country due to which the prices will lead to an increase in prices of the goods sold to its citizen and abroad ,hence affecting the other emerging countries which are dependent on particular goods that are only supplied by Turkey. It was easily observed that the prices of general commodities in the commodity basket have risen  drastically. The general prices of bread have risen drastically affecting the standard of living of people within the country. In order to control the situation within the country the government took the most desired step to increase the interest rate so that the people all around the globe will invest in the country as it will be more profitable for them rather than investing in their domestic markets which have a lower interest rate to offer this will lead to huge inflow of dollars and hence match up the excess demand of dollars. This was supported by a move from Qatar which made an $15 billion investment which was totally to match up the supply demand difference. Since we follow the system of flexible exchange rate the increase in interest rate will lead to capital inflow which will lead Lira to appreciate and when the country will reach the original exchange rate levels the interest rate will return to the initial position ie. In line with the interest rates of the rest of the world. 
I will like to end up my blog by saying that the reduction in supply of dollars is a short term affect and will disappear when all the market around the globe will adjust to the changes, Hence in long run the markets will return to its initial position because when every country will appreciate their currencies we will be back from where we started .

29th Annual General Meeting at FICCI

The event started with FICCI president Sandip Somany honouring the chief guest  Ravi Shankar Parsad . The theme for the event for the event was “Building India”. According to Ravi Shankar building a new India is always about thinking big and inspiring yourself. To clarify his statement he illustrtated  that  in 2014 they were only two mobile factory  when he came into power and now after four years of his reign IT sector has a total of  hundred and twenty seven factories and including component factories it will be massive  of two hundred and sixty eight factories . Noida is becoming the emerging place .India is the second emerging the country after china .
National Optical Fibre Programme (nofl) was started to connect the entire population of the country and was later known as Bharat Connect . He further laid emphasis that that India has surpassed France to becom the  sixth largest economy and mostly it is linked to the Ease Of Doing Business . According to him he stated that this happened because the government has followed the Vajpayee objective to enlarge the economy so it becomes easyto do business which will be beneficial for us as  as the corporate will pay taxes which will lead to increase at the tax revenue and increase  the government spending 
He further told that he believed in the fact that IT + IT =IT ie Indian talent plus the Indian technology is equal to the India tomorrow . He laid emphasis the IT sector has played a dominant role over the years.
He further highlighted about the e hospital,e scholarship,e visa programmes that have been introduced to make India digital literate ie like ayushmaan bharat . The reasons that digital progress was slow because here people first observe technology then adopt it and finally enjoy it. Other challenges that looms is the cyber wars and the cyber crimes 
He ended his speech by saying that India missed the industrial revolution because of the imperial power and missed the entrepreneurial revolution because of quota and licensing but target to be the leaders in the digital revolution by aiming to build the technology at low cost .

It gives us information about the unfamiliar things or events going around us.

There are different types of news:

●ENTERTAINMENT  : Nowadays news has become a great source of entertainment. For example the the bollywood news ,gossips etc.

●POLITICAL: It gives us the information about the ruling party as well as the opponent.For example Whatever rules are changed in our constitution ,some articles which are abolished etc.

●SPORTS: It gives us information about games like cricket,football etc.For example which player will play in the future or who is not in the team etc

●WEATHER: It awares us from the climate and the future coming natural disasters.

●BUSINESS & ECONOMY:It puts forward  the financial & economic growth of the country.

●FOREIGN AFFAIRS: It gives us the information that what is going on other countries and it also explains the dealings and relations of India with other countries.

Format of news writing..

In newspaper the news is presented in such a way :-

First there is a heading .Then there is a subheading.Then it comes to the first para of the news which give direct information about the topic after that the intro comes,which flourishes the information and at the end,there is the last para which conclude the whole news especially it compliments the first paragraph.So that if the reader's mind gets lost in between reading the news the last paragraph rolls it up.

8th GLOBAL SPORTS SUMMIT

INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION ON BUSINESS OF SPORTS.

Ficci is organising "Tu₹f 2018" 8th global sports summit, an international convention on business of sports which was scheduled at 25-26october , 2018 at FICCI Federation house , Tansen Marg , New Delhi.

TURF has following components:

●8th global sports summit.

●INDIA sports award ceremony.

●Panel discussions were held.

The Turf was started with an inaugral session.

Members present there were:

●ASHWIN KUMAR CHOUBEY: is a minister  of state for health &family welfare of the 16th Lok Sabha 

●SIDHARTHA UPADHYAY:is the founder & secretary general of STAIRS Authority of India (SAI) . He is the member of credible Indudtry bodies including confederation of India chambers of commerce &industry {FICCI}.

●BADER AL DARNISH: Secretary general of Asia.

●MANAB MAZUMDAR: Dy. Secretary general 

●OMKAR KEDIA: he is a media officer at government office.

In this inaugral session they told about the recent achievements of India in the fields of sports. Youngsters are doing very well .For example HIMA DAS at athletes,and SOURAV at shooting etc.

They also told FICCI in national as well as international level support sports and also gets a good achievement.

8th GLOBAL SPORTS SUMMIT

MANU BHAKER : Is an Indian sport Shooter. she represented India at the 2018 ISSF WORLD CUP. She is the youngest Indian to win a gold medal in ISSF World Cup. she won the gold medal in women's 10m air pistol event at 2018  just at the age of 16

SHARAD KUMAR: is an Indian para high jumper and a former world no. 1.He made his International debut at the 2010 Asian Para Games.   At the 2014 Asian Para Games, he won the gold medal in the high jump (T42), breaking a 12-year Asian Games record, and reclaimed the world no. 1 position. Kumar participated in the 2016 Summer Paralympics finishing sixth. 

VIKAS KRISNAN: is an Indian male boxer from Bhiwani district in Haryana, who won a gold medal in the  2010 Asian Games  in the Lightweight category and a gold medal at the 2018 commonwealth Games.

SANDEEP CHAUDHARY:  Javelin thrower Sandeep Chaudhary ended India's wait for a gold medal at the 20182018 Para Asian Games Para Asian Games in Indonesia on Monday.

Chaudhary bagged the top prize in the men's F42-/61-64 event a throw of 60.01 metre at the continental extravaganza.

 They share their experiences and the journey of success. How they get trained and and the rules and regulations they undergo through. They also told about the hard times of their carrier.There are also momments when they get depressed and feel like that they are not able to achieve but always there are people who motivates them inspire them and become the strength.

They also share about the feelings when they are not able to get the medals and people started to judge them and their performances.This make them a great depressed.

When one of the panellist ask them about the loopholes when they can't get the medals .....

In answering to that question :

 They said that those who are representing their countries in the finals are already winners ,but what happens is one win and the other one loose ; that doesn't mean that he /she doesn't deserve to win.  At that time people started to judge and to comment on their performances ,so the athlete said that the preparation of the gold medalist (winner)  is same as well as the other finalist .The fact is that , the athlete  who cannot perform well on that particular day was just that it was not his/her day.

Therefore their message towards us was that DON'T REMEMBER THE BAD DAY OF YOUR LIFE JUST IMPROVE THE MISTAKES  WHICH YOU HAVE DONE AND WORK HARD TOWARDS YOUR GOAL.

Court is a place, where people believe's that they'll get the justice someone is not guilty.

Journalist are used to give information to the people from which they are unfamiliar.

Court reporting means that,when a crime has been committed, reporters need to tell people about it. They may talk to people about it. They may talk to people who saw the crime, or whose property was stolen or damaged and always quote the things those people have to say.

There are two things that a law student seeking to pursue journalism must keep in mind.

• First expressing ideas and opinions. A journalist must be able to convey his message in a simple yet effective and in a convincing matter.

• Secondly the most important things to be kept in the mind is that Unlike the law, it is the responsibility of the journalists to through light about the other side of the case which is left by the lawyer.

There are some OBJECTIVE which journalists have to follow.....

• Develop Strategies for effective reporting on the court system.

•Think critical about the professional and ethical changes post by reporting on the criminal and civil justice systems.

•Write fairly, accurately, and without sensationalism about the Often emotionally wrought cases that capture public interest and media attention.

• Develop the ability to look for context in reporting on court activities and to convey that context to readers and viewers.

THEREFORE court reporter is a professional who is most often licensed and/or certified to record proceedings using a stenotype machine.

Expectations and Happiness

Sometimes, we feel a sudden urge to change everything in our life. So, we get up with an intention that we’ll start changing stuff but we look around and BOOM! We can’t really help anything. Because we’re so twisted in the maze we’d stepped into, years ago. Because it was not like this when it was in our head.
When people say that they have nothing planned in their head about what they were going to do in future, they lie. Because every single one of us has planned a million times of how we want our future to be like. We all dream of money and comfort. And all we do in the first twenty years of our existence is to make a mind map which leads us to the picture of ourselves in the future. What we do in the next ten years is follow that mind map. When things do not go exactly as we thought they would, we give up all the taste of living the best out of our life and choose a life of monotony and wait for our death. We think of our work as a necessity to earn a livelihood and not as living and giving a part of ourselves to it.
There is always a huge difference between how things happen and how we expect them to, obviously when we say we want be a millionaire, it does sound believable in our head, does it not? But reality check, Cross check. Yup, it’s an imaginary thought.
Things can’t always go wrong but sometimes, they do. At those moments in life we have to accept what really happened and still not get disappointed and continue dreaming about a happily ever after in those scenarios.
Try to make the most out of where you are and what you are doing. Things do not change instantly. And when we’re caught up in a scenario it is up to us if we want to live it happily or regret it for the rest of our lives.
The simple point is every one of us can bear every set of conditions we’re put into or that we get ourselves into. There’s no such thing as ‘I suck at my job.’ Or ‘This is not what I wanted.’ Because when we reach somewhere it is a result of our own deeds.
There are times in life when we sit and wonder what we’re actually doing in our life or why we are doing it? Does it bring us happiness or satisfaction? So, answer this question to yourself first. Pick up your life right from where you left off living it. Seek what sets your soul on fire. Be reckless. Not purposeless. And be happy at wherever you are at any point of your life.
We’ve all seen people in huts living off a life the best they can and we’ve also seen millionaires giving up on the very precious life due to god knows what reasons. We’re the playmakers of our own life. And if we can write our own destiny, can’t we stick by it and stay happy? We can do this, can’t we?

DIFFERENCES

Every child grows out differently. Different than he thought as a child. Even different than what his parents raised him to be. Because that’s who he really is.
A child can be rebellious for his own parents at times in life. This does not mean that he loves them less or has lost respect towards them. All it indicates is a wind of change. This wind makes a person who he really is or what he wants himself to be. Which may or may not contradict his parents’ opinion of him.
This may give birth to fights. On and Off fights which always end up being resolved on the dinner table. But sometimes, it is more than that. Hearts are broken , Respect all vanished , Love all give up. But isn’t this the cost you pay, to prove yourself? Maybe that is the cost you have to pay.
Sometimes,  you have to understand and at other times you have to make people to understand you. That’s life.
Strange stuff happen, people change, but so do you. “Strange stuff happens and when it happens more often, it gradually starts seeming less stranger. That’s the principle of life. You enter a new atmosphere and you get used to it and you make a difference in yourself to make yourself fit in that particular niche.”
But , sometimes it is the opposite way around. You have to alter yourself to be what others want you to be like. This does not mean that you sacrifice your happiness, Love is Sacrifice. You can always give up on some things for the people who gave up everything for you. Can you not?
Parents have their dreams and expectations and they’re always ready to give up on them if those make you unhappy. Children can make their own decisions obviously, but not at the cost of losing the bond with the ones who taught you how to make decisions in the first place. Convince your parents about what you want to do with your life, they do not measure you by the yardstick of their own years. Ofcousre they’re older and have a better experience, but they try their best to figure out why we do what we do. They’ve seen you yesterday, in your mother’s arms and they’re seeing you today, ready to color the sky. Tell them everything. Do not hide anything because “To Know All Is To Forgive All.”

TARAZU :- The Annual Art Exhibition 2018

On 25th October 2018 “Strokes” the fine arts society of SGTB Khalsa college organised its annual art exhibition on the theme of “ying yang” which describes how seemingly opposite or contrary forces may actually be interconnected ,interdependent in the natural world .On the basis of the underline theme twenty four artists stood up  to show their talent by showing their painting related to this wonderful theme . The event was inaugurated by the principal Mr. Jaswinder Singh who also performed the ribbon cutting ceremony. Shreya Gupta the president of the fine arts society presented the token of appreciation to the principal . The two day long event began at 10 a.m. sharp  in the college most beautiful area ‘JANNAT’ which was fully covered by the craftwork of the society members . The society members had worked day night for many weeks in order to prepare the craftwork for the exhibition. The event also had stalls where various items were put for sale. These items were handmade and put for sale at a reasonable price. Some of the items put for sale were infinity cards ,birthday cards ,box cards ,earing’s ,bookmarks , keychains ,dreamcatchers , and many more items . The  paintings were hanged on rope mashes and every painting had a hidden message and a name which was displayed at the bottom right of the drawing . The members of the society had a dress code on both the days , on the first day all the members were required to wear society shirts  and on the second day of the event it was the indo-western theme . Every member dressed very attractively which showed their enthusiasm and excitement regarding the event . Various teachers ,students ,and society members from different colleges came  to see the exhibition and they admired the paintings of the various artists . Light music was also played in the exhibition in order to light up the mood  of the viewers . The ex-society members also praised the entire team for organising the event in a very efficient and effective manner .

TARAZU- The Annual Art Exhibition by "STROKES- The Fine Arts Society" of SGTBKC.

This edition of the annual art exhibition of strokes the fine arts society of shri guru tegh Bahadur khalsa college, began on 25th of October at 10'o clock in the morning at JANNAT.
 The theme of the exhibition this year, was Yin Yang. 24 artists including marketing members had put their best efforts for this exhibition to be one of the best art exhibitions of Delhi university
Through their paintings, the artists had shown the negativities-positivities, good-bad and many other opposite things and how they are inseparable, that's what life is, there's negativity and positivity both.
The honourable principal of the college and the society convener arrived near 11 o clock at the exhibition, the artists greeted them with a beautiful buckeye, Then the ribbon cutting tradition had to be completed as always, the principal cut the ribbon and entered the exhibition area with a very curious face as he's always excited to look at what the artists have created and what message they want to spread through it.
 There were a total of _ paintings which were hanged at the mashes made through ropes and poles by the artist themselves and each painting had a great hidden meaning and message behind it. Then in the middle of all the paintings there was this area named artist corner where the visitors could know about the artists who had made this exhibition successful. The freshers of the society had done great work this year. Every one of them had presented three master pieces of art which reflected their hard work and dedication towards art.
The seniors have always been impressive in the exhibitions but this year the Freshers caught the attention of every one. Their work was really surprising.
The decoration this year was very colourful, there were white cages , rainbow coloured rings, spinning  paper wheels hanging on ropes.
Sources have told that the artists/society members had stayed till 10-11:00 p.m. one night before the exhibition to set up all the decor and had come back to the college at 6 in the morning of the exhibition day.
The decor reflected their hardwork.
The artists had dressed up with the new official navy coloured society t shirts with their names at their backs.
The another big part of the exhibition was the stall, Kreartivity. Where the artists were selling Dreamcatchers, various variety of cards, different kinds of keychains, earrings, shagun cards, diya holders,  and so much more. There was not a single moment when that stall would have not been covered with students all around it.
Even the teachers had bought a lot of stuff from there.
The Delhi university students were loving the exhibition, the college students had bunked their lectures just to be there, on asking they told that they're loving this vibe.
The day one had ended with nothing but happy Faces all around.
Next day began with the same excitement among everyone. The artists had dressed up traditionally this day, like they do every year.
The student count enjoying the exhibition never seemed to be less than the first day.. and neither the stall was short of buyers.

Sources have told that. The artists had not attended a single lecture, in the last couple of weeks while preparing for the exhibition.
Their dedication could easily be seen in their artworks.
