RSS organized nation-wide protest against “Hindu terror”

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) organized a nation-wide protest on alleged “Hindu terror” or “saffron terrorism”. Today in the early morning hours (November 10), RSS staged rallies against the Congress-led central government's anti-RSS and anti-Hindu religion politics.

RSS spokesperson Kishore Kant also said that anti-terrorism squad has no proper proof against Indresh Kumar who is falsely associated with 2007 Ajmer blast. RSS also pointed out that bringing such issues to the fore front the U.P.A government is diverting from major corruption charges, of the present hour.

The protest would be peaceful and will not create any chaos for the citizens. RSS leader mainly opposed the use of the terminology “Saffron Terrorism”, which is linked to Hindu religion. While at the same time they also blamed the U.P.A government for failing to take any steps against Geelani and Arundhati Roy for their objectionable remarks. RSS also claimed that they would not allow the congress-led government to conspire against them.

RSS held responsible the U.P.A government for playing vote bank politics, while aiming the Muslim minority. They’ll also make appeal to the masses as well, in their later protests, to mobilize support

Mr.President we welcome you

President Barack Obama is on his maiden trip to India, where his first stop was Mumbai. So far the president stayed at the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower hotel and signed its guest book, addressed a U.S.-India business summit where he announced the easing of restrictions on exports to India and confirmed billions of dollars in deals. He also met with hundreds of students at St. Xavier’s College to answer wide-ranging questions, including one about Pakistan. India Real Time presents a round-up of commentary and analysis in the Indian press on the visit.

US President Barack Obama andFirst Lady Michelle Obama arrived in New DelhiSunday afternoon on the second leg of the four-day India visit. They were received by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his wife Gursharan Kaur.
headed to the U.S. Embassy, later he will leave for the world heritage site Humayun Tomb on Mathura Road. The tomb was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993, and since then has undergone extensive restoration work.n the evening, President Obama and the First Lady will attend a private dinner being hosted by Prime Minister Dr. Singh at his residence.

“The irony is unmistakable. America was once the New World, having been ‘discovered’ in the 15th century when Pietro Martire d’Anghiera, an Italian at the Spanish court, first referred to the novi orbis that Columbus found on his voyage,” she wrote on Friday. “Six centuries on, Barack Obama represents the old New World. Or the new Old World. The future seems to be here in India.”

Javed Akhtar translates 'Vande mataram'

Veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar has translated the national song 'Vande mataram' from Sanskrit to Hindi for director Ashutosh Gowariker's forthcoming period film 'Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey'.

"I think if you are inspired, if you have that high energy created by the original text then it becomes easier for a writer to do something," the 65-year-old told us when asked how easy or difficult was the whole process.

"So I won't say it was difficult although I was obviously and terribly over-awed by the responsibility. But somehow it happened very quickly and to the satisfaction of the music director (Sohail Sen) and the director," he added.

'Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey', slated to hit the screens Dec 3, stars Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. Set in Chittagong in pre-independent India, the true life story revolves around a series of attacks executed April 18, 1930 and their aftermath.

The music of the film was launched on Wednesday and apart from the male lead, other B-town celebs like Jaya Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Anupam Kher and Kirron Kher were there.

The story develops in a part of Bengal, so what all did Akhtar have to keep in mind while penning the lyrics?

Alimony and modern love.

What is your opinion about the new rule on live-in relationships , MODERN LOVE as we call them.?
Should Alimony or maintainance be given to the woman if the relationship doesnt work out?
