MASS MEDIA COMMUNICATION
Media is the mean of mass communication especially T.V, Radio and newspaper. The word media is the plural form of medium, a word for the thing by which or through which something is done. In the late 20th century mass media could be classified into eight mass media industries:- books, newspaper, magazines, recording, radio, movies, televisions and the internet. In the 2000s a classification called the “seven mass media” become popular. They are the followings:-
- · Print from the 15th century
- · Recording from the late 19th century
- · Cinema from about 1900
- · Radio from about 1910
- · Television from about 1950
- · Internet from about 1990
- · Mobile phones from about 2000.
Each mass media has its own content types, its own business model. For example:- the “sixth and the seventh” media, internet and mobile are often called collectively as digital media and the “fourth and fifth” radio TV as broadcast media. There are two effects of media “positive” and “negative”. Positive effects are the media provides people with information. Mass media enable us to know about the world what is going on in world. It helps us to get latest information or any events. The media gives the value system on what’s good or bad, what’s pretty or ugly. There are not only positive effects but also have a negative effects, the first I think the media does have an effect on teenagers which shows in their vocabulary not only that but they start to try the copies of celebrities.it does often have more in of asset on team girls though. Even we can say that mass media effect not only teenagers but all of us.
